Big Data: Success Comes Down to Solid Compliance
摘要
Data has become the strategic resource so far. It can be expected that China’s big data industry will embrace rapid growth in the near future. With the boom of the big data industry, many areas such as government administration, public service and industry development will see huge potentials through the innovative application of data. However, the special characteristics of big data also pose certain legal risks which need to be taken care of and guarded against. The uncertainty of data ownership, coupled with the underlying basis of the big data industry – analysis and deduction of the association and causality between data from multiple sources, has brought about real challenges to the traditional legal rules in terms of data collection, storage, analysis and commercialization.
